Quality Assurance 產品品質保證
At Regulus, with over 20 years of expertise in the electronics industry, we believe that superior quality is the foundation of every successful partnership. Our Taiwan-based facility operates under a rigorous, document-driven Quality Assurance (QA) framework designed to ensure that every PCBA and box build assembly meets the highest industrial standards for performance and durability.
A Dual-Track Inspection Strategy
We implement a project-specific inspection workflow that adapts to each project stage, helping support a controlled transition from initial sample validation to mass production.
Phase I: Inspection for Samples (Prototyping)
Before moving to full-scale production, our QA team conducts a structured evaluation of initial samples. This phase helps validate design integrity, material compatibility, and production readiness based on the project’s requirements.
-
Material & Dimensions Verification: Ensuring components, mechanical parts, and critical dimensions match the 3D CAD models, BOM, drawings, and approved specifications.
-
Comprehensive Reliability Testing
-
PCBA Level: Based on project requirements, PCBA-level inspection and testing can be performed to verify electrical performance, functional behavior, and process quality. Depending on the product design and quality criteria, this may include functional circuit testing (FCT), in-circuit testing (ICT), thermal stress testing, or other inspection and testing items. For more available PCBA inspection and testing capabilities, please see PCB Assembly Capability.
-
Box Build Level: Based on project specifications, fully assembled systems can be evaluated through functional, electrical, environmental, and reliability testing to verify system-level performance and durability. When required, this may include high/low temperature environment testing, thermal shock testing, vibration testing, salt spray testing, functional load testing, or other application-specific validation. For related testing information, please see reliability testing equipment.
-
-
Customer Approval Bridge: We provide inspection reports for customer review and approval, helping confirm that the sample output aligns with agreed specifications before moving into mass production.
Phase II: Inspection Process for Mass Production
Once the design and production criteria are validated, our facility applies a controlled, multi-stage monitoring process to support production consistency and quality traceability.
-
IQC (Incoming Quality Control): Verification of raw materials, components, and supplied parts upon receipt to help prevent material-related defects from entering production.
-
IPQC (In-Process Quality Control): Process monitoring during PCB assembly and box build integration to identify and address process deviations during production.
-
FQC (Final Quality Control): End-of-line inspection covering functional, cosmetic, labeling, and outgoing quality requirements before products are released for delivery.
Our Comprehensive QA Organizational Structure
Our QA system is built on a transparent, multi-layered architecture that covers the entire product lifecycle, from the first component to post-sales support.
-
IQC: Material Excellence
We maintain strict control over our supply chain, providing detailed QA Inspection Reports and IQC Inspection Reports for all incoming parts to ensure only the highest quality materials enter our production lines.
-
IPQC: Manufacturing Integrity (AUDIT & PQC)
Our process quality control is divided into two specialized functions:
-
AUDIT (Process Standards): We enforce Golden Sample Confirmation and maintain strict RoHS, REACH, and ESD control across the facility.
-
PQC (Production Quality Control): Dedicated monitoring for SMT & THT (DIP) assembly, including programming and functional test quality control.
-
OQC: Final Shipment Verification
Before leaving our facility, every order undergoes a final Outgoing Shipping Inspection to ensure packaging, labeling, and product functionality are flawless.
-
PS & CS: Post-Sales & Continuous Improvement
Our commitment to quality extends beyond delivery:
-
Complaint Management: Systematic analysis and processing of any feedback with transparent Complaints Handling Records.
-
Process Statistics: Regular analysis of quality control reports to drive continuous process optimization.
-
Routine Reporting: Maintaining open communication through regular customer meetings and performance reporting.
The Regulus Quality Advantage
-
Full Traceability: Our document-driven approach ensures every stage—from IQC to OQC—is backed by formal inspection reports. This provides a complete audit trail, ensuring full accountability for every PCB assembly and box build project.
-
Specialized Manufacturing Precision: We excel in both high-precision PCB assembly and complex box build manufacturing. Our technical team ensures that electrical functionality and mechanical fit are perfectly synchronized, delivering reliable customized electronics that meet your exact specifications.
